Astro Social ("we", "us", "app", "service") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we process when you use the Astro Social mobile app and related web services, why we process it, how we store it, and your rights.

1. Scope

This policy covers:

• Mobile app (iOS and Android)
• Account and authentication
• Astrology, tarot, coffee reading, and related AI features
• Social features (profile, posts, comments, likes, friends, reports/moderation)
• AstroWellness (optional health data integration — detailed below)
• Push notifications
• Support and help center

2. Data We Process

2.8. Health Data — AstroWellness

Approved use case (Google Play / Health Connect): Fitness, wellness and coaching — personal fitness and general wellbeing tracking. This section describes Health Data for the optional AstroWellness feature. AstroWellness is not a medical device; astrology features do not require health data.

2.8.1. Health Data we access or collect

Only if you explicitly choose to connect and grant platform permissions:

We do not access or collect: heart rate, blood pressure, blood glucose, body weight, clinical medical records, prescriptions, diagnoses, or other HealthKit/Health Connect data types.

2.8.2. How we access Health Data

• iOS: Apple Health (HealthKit), read-only by default (we do not write to HealthKit unless the system requires a disclosure string).
• Android: Health Connect with READ_STEPS and READ_SLEEP.
• Optional: You may use the app without linking health data.
• No background health polling: Data is read when you open AstroWellness, refresh the screen, or tap Refresh.

2.8.3. How we use Health Data

• Personal AstroWellness summaries (sleep/step tones, daily balance score)
• Soft, mindfulness-oriented copy combined with in-app astrological energy indicators (not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment)
• If you are signed in: optional daily summary sync to our server (date, balance score, sleep hours, step count, astro energy average). Raw HealthKit/Health Connect records are not uploaded.

We do not use Health Data for advertising profiles, sale of data, or marketing sharing.

2.8.4. Storage

• On device: Recent summaries may be cached locally.
• On server (signed-in users): Optional daily aggregates only, transmitted over HTTPS/TLS.

2.8.5. Sharing

Health Data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising. Infrastructure providers (hosting, database) may process data only as needed to run the service.

2.8.6. Retention

Server summaries are kept while your account is active, subject to account deletion and our general retention rules.

2.8.7. Your controls

• Do not connect health data, or revoke permissions in iOS Settings → Health or the Health Connect app.
• Contact support@astroai.work for account-related deletion requests.

2.8.8. Health disclaimer

AstroWellness is not a medical device or healthcare service. For health concerns, consult a qualified professional.
